- I'm a technology consultant with Alexant Systems Corporation . My goal is make your life easier using technology. My areas of expertise are document management (getting paperless) and accounting. I've worked in insurance and accounting for 30 years, and experienced good and bad automation.
I'm an Ascnet Certified Presenter and teach classes on Accounting and Reporting using Applied Systems TAM product to local user groups, and Summits, Boot Camps and Annual Conferences.
I'm passionate about workflows and teaching - finding the most efficient way to accomplish a task, and then teaching others the process.
I am part of a multi-disciplinary group that offers Outsourced IT Support, Help Desk, Managed Network Services and Support, Network Systems Integration, Document Management, Voice Implementation and Support, Training and Consulting. So when I come up with a better workflow, I have the techical know-how behind me that can make it happen.
I grew up in Northern Virginia. I have four sons, ages 16 to 26, and a husband that is passionate about relic hunting (civil war stuff).

Are you on TAM or Vision? I got certified last fall as an Ascnet Presenter. I taught 4 classes at the Atlanta summit, and will be teaching in Detroit and at the boot camps in Orlando. Do you get to attend Summits or Conference?
I began in personal lines about 5 years ago. I jsut made the switch to commercial about a year and a half ago. I enjoy it a lot more. There's a lot more variety. I'm very happy that I don't have to worry about the licensing of the other 47 states. :o) maybe some day but definately not now.
Ashlyn, my little girl, is my ray of sunshine. She's very bright and I love to ehar the things that she says. Her point of view is very refreshing. Speaking for my in-laws, grand children are even better than having your own.
I work for an independant agency. Marshall & Sterling. We're fairly large compared to some, licensed in 48 states.
